CAPRIOLO

CAPRIOLO d.o.o. is a domestic company established in 1996 on a family estate Brindza in Backa Topola (Northern Serbia). The core of CAPRIOLO ’s business comprises:
• Production and sale of bicycles
• Sale of spare parts for bicycles, fitness machines and equipment, hunting and fishing, and other sports equipment.
The Serbian market quickly recognised the values of the CAPRIOLO brand. Many business partners and distributors across the country are satisfied with our performance, while CAPRIOLO keeps expanding its own retail network (at present we have 22 retail stores open throughout Serbia).
CAPRIOLO employs 220 workers today and its products are placed not only in Serbia but also in foreign markets. The values and quality of CAPRIOLO bicycles have been recognised in 22 countries, regionally and in the EU.
CAPRIOLO’s products are certified by ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 quality certificates.

Our love for bicycles and the desire to design a more beautiful, better, and higher quality bicycle are the driving force behind CAPRIOLO’s development and growth. The momentous leap in CAPRIOLO’s business was in 2001 when we purchased the first semi-automatic line for the assembly of bicycles and wheel production machines. Following the acquisition, CAPRIOLO significantly expanded its domestic market and recorded its first export ventures.
The issue of production site (a prerequisite for the growth and development of a company) was solved in 2006 when CAPRIOLO bought the former textile company Elegant (Backa Topola) from bankruptcy. We then moved to the location at Edvarda Kardelja street and adapted the premises for our own production. A storage hall was built on the location (3,500m2) right next to the production plant. Most importantly, we’ve also built a hall and a plant for plasticisation – bicycle painting.
All this prepared CAPRIOLO to respond to market demands in a very short time.
