NeoMedica is engaged in the development, production, and distribution of diagnostic medical devices. We produce hematological reagents and apparatus. The other important branch of production is immunochemistry, where we produce reagents for viruses, hormones, tumor markers, infectious diseases … The device on which these specified tests are performed automatically is also our product which we named NAISSA as a reference to the city where we come from. It became publically known in Serbia as well as the region when we first produced tests to detect the virus that causes COVID-19. NeoMedica exports to over 50 countries around the world. The challenge is to produce a medical product that will be sold in the EU, Switzerland, the UK, as well as Egypt, the countries of the Middle East, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Peru, and Chile. This is just part of the list of countries where NeoMedica products are registered with the Ministries of Health or the Agencies, where they are evaluated, and where they successfully and superbly perform diagnostics of a wide range of diseases.

The founder Sasa Trickovic is the general director and head of the development team, which has grown and is the backbone of the company’s future. In 2002. NeoMedica has already begun its production of primarily appliances and instruments for the biochemical laboratory. It was similar equipment that was previously produced in the former republics of Yugoslavia, where there was a shortage of “domestic” products. We very quickly recognized the need to produce the appliances products as well as related consumables and we started the development and later production of diagnostic reagents. The great strategic decision was to dedicate ourselves to building a brand and selling it in a foreign market at the expense of selling in Serbia. This slowed down our development but laid a strong foundation for us to become what we are today. It was necessary to provide standards and audits that are recognized in the world, to finance development and projects, along with expanding and educating our staff that mostly consists of pharmacists, doctors, and engineers. We used every opportunity to participate in projects where part of the finances was subsidized and the rest we invested through commercial loans. We exhibit at the world’s largest medical fairs.
