Highlight a business move you made in 2023 that you are particularly proud of:
Uzbekistan is a country that is the “engine” of Central Asia’s development. Serbia does not fully realize the potential in collaborating with this country. At Superior, we began selling seeds to large producers who have canning factories, and I am very proud of the fact that I was able to find them, learn Russian, and initiate cooperation with Uzbekistan.

If your company had the opportunity to participate in Expo 2027 (either in the preparation of Expo 2027 or at the Expo 2027 event itself), how do you think you could participate?
Superior is the only private Serbian company that produces vegetable seeds. We are the producers of the famous “Slonovo Uvo” pepper and “Volovsko Srce” (Oxheart) tomato. I believe that at some point, Serbia should present itself with products that nurture values and things we are known for around the world, such as – healthy and tasty food! We are just one of a few who produce something the world is crying out for, and that is GMO-free agricultural products, made with the soul of a good Serbian host.
And yes, it is not shameful to present ourselves through food. I have been to the Expo in Milan and Dubai, and the pavilions of some countries were entirely in ethnic style. Expos last a long time, and I think there should be a section dedicated to promoting agriculture and food.
What improvements and programs would you suggest that you think could contribute to your business and the Serbian economy?
Foreigners who visit us say that Serbia is developing and that construction is happening here like nowhere else in the world. I am proud to live and work in Serbia, but as an owner, I would love to experience a scenario where we, as entrepreneurs, have lower fuel prices for agriculture, lower payroll taxes, so that we can direct those funds to net salaries. I wish we could purchase new equipment and machinery under subsidized conditions and that the government would help us find new partners around the world. So, we are not asking for favorable loans, we are asking for a level playing field where our “horse” can run and show itself in the best possible light.
We will repay Serbia by employing more workers and exporting more and more of our products.
