TELIX develops manufactures and sells speedometers -“lidars”, which are used worldwide. They are based on laser technology and we have the patents registered in the USA. We have all the innovative capacities within the company, and we have never hired external experts for product development. TELIX employs a team of young innovative and creative engineers. The buyer of the device is the police, hence the device must meet strict technical requirements. The main challenges in the production stem from the fact that lidar is a multidisciplinary product and combines technologies of mechanical, electrical, chemical, and programming professions. Among our clients are: Thailand, Morocco, Singapore, USA, England, Czech Republic, Croatia, North Macedonia, Uganda, Brazil, Costa Rica, Norway, Switzerland, Estonia, and Egypt. The production of lidar has led also to other innovative branches of TELIX’s business, such as the production of aluminium profiles, anodizing, and machine production for the automotive industry.

COMPANY DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURIAL STORY
The founder of TELIX is Milos Kovacevic, an electrical engineer, who in 1992 established a company for the sale of computers and video surveillance gear, and the design and sale of industrial electronics. The company grew to become TELIX in 1997. Through constant progress, innovation, and monitoring of the market demands TELIX adjusts and expands its scope of activities. In 2004, TELIX began developing devices for measuring the speed of vehicles in traffic, and launched many new branches of business within the company. Guided by the idea that it is a competitive advantage to produce everything that’s possible within one company, TELIX is developing its own machine shop and working to improve the performance of its team of engineers and technicians engaged in the device development. One of the key moments in the business’s growth was signing of contract with one of the world’s leading companies for the production of lasers in the USA – “Kustom Signals”. This partnership has enabled TELIX to enter the global market, and accordingly, the firm’s production capacities increased. From the beginning until the present, TELIX is financed independently with occasional help from commercial banks’ loans. Today, TELIX owns 3,500m2 of its own office space in Novi Sad and employs 37 people.

TELIX operates since 1997 and comprises of a team of engineers and experts in mechanical engineering, electronics, design, modelling, and sales. Over the years our team is constantly advancing and expanding, while the firm constantly provides decent employment for all – there is a noticeable increase in wages and working conditions in TELIX keep improving. We also work on staff training by ensuring that they attend courses in desired areas.TELIX provides equal working conditions regardless of the gender, and encourages all its staff to advance within the company. Such policy is reflected in the fact that one of TELIX’s directors was a woman.
In terms of ecology, we invest in recycling and we recycle all aluminium waste generated in our machine shop. We are located in Novi Sad, in own facility, and we have been doing business with clients in Serbia and abroad for 35 years. We have embraced technological innovation to optimise the production process and the firm’s business. We deal with innovative solutions: for the production of equipment in industrial systems (automotive industry, manufacturing industry), for the modelling and production of machine parts aluminium profiles and accessories for industrial structures, for 3D printing, and for the modern anodising process.
