ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors are becoming one of the key prerequisites for the successful and sustainable operation of businesses, their competitiveness, and especially their exports to foreign markets. Corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises, regardless of their size or sector, must adapt to the new demands of the global market and their competitors or face the risk of losing market share.

The EBRD advisory team, in collaboration with ESG experts, is organizing the “Fundamentals of ESG for SMEs” training to enhance the knowledge of SMEs in Serbia about ESG and encourage them to proactively position their companies in the local and international markets. This is particularly important considering the environmental protection issues that are already impacting their business operations.

Training Concept:

A one-day training on the topic ‘Fundamentals of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) for Small and Medium Enterprises’ will take place on 10/11/2023, starting at 9:30 AM.

The training will cover the following topics:

• Introduction to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)
• ESG Regulations
• Relevant Stakeholders and Materiality Concept International Standards and Reporting Frameworks for ESG
• ESG Investing and Analysis
• Creating and Implementing an ESG Strategy within the Company
