AGROPARTNER is established in 1990. We produce annually about 8,000 tons of frozen fruit, by connecting small plantations with very demanding buyers, and by offering the know-how to our producers. All we do aims to facilitate the production of safe products of the best quality. We specialise in the production of frozen fruit and our business is set up to provide control over all the production stages: cultivation and harvesting, reception and processing, packaging, and distribution. AGROPARTNER offers the following products: deep-frozen raspberries (roland and semolina) as our main product, blackberries, fruit mixes, cherries, and plums. Our buyers worldwide include supermarkets, food services companies, industry (juices, jam, yogurt), and pastry shops. Our most demanding buyer in terms of quality requirements is a world-renown food service company from France. Quality management in AGROPARTNER is compliant with BRC, IFS, and Global Gap standards. Also, our company meets the BSCI ethical requirements for the business.

COMPANY DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURIAL STORY
The founders of AGROPARTNER are Rade Kovacevic and Momčilo Kicic, and in launching the firm they saw an opportunity to embark on a private business. At the time Serbia was undergoing reforms favourable to private entrepreneurship. By hiring experts in the field AGROPARTNER’s founders have slowly gained new know-how. They won new buyers by visiting food and beverage fairs abroad, and by exchanging experiences and know-how with the buyers. This has resulted in the firm’s growth and the expansion of its production and production program. With the number of buyers increasing amid the ever-changing market demands, AGROPARTNER has grown to become a reliable partner to its buyers and also to its manufacturers and suppliers. AGROPARTNER has become a good place to work for its employees. Financing and investment in the production, the production lines, and in construction of the facilities – relied mostly over the years on bank loans, and on the Development Fund (formerly AOFI). Opportunities to win new products came to us through the development of production programs of our strategic buyers. They had trust in us and provided us with the opportunity to develop. The challenges we still face today are: the volatility of fruit prices on the market, and the conditions of supply of raw materials (fresh and deep-frozen fruit) in Serbia.
CONTRIBUTION TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
One of our main goals for the coming period is to train our staff in management and production. Training and development of our staff are done internally through work with mentors, but also through the engagement of external experts in the form of team and individual training sessions or visits to seminars.
