It all started with the idea of creating quality and functional furniture needed in every home. That is how JELA JAGODINA was established – a furniture factory that today crossed the borders of the market in Serbia and is present in the demanding European and global markets. By applying digital and CNC categories, JELA JAGODINA guarantees to respond to market demands, while its production relies on the latest generation of machines of German quality (HOMAG Group). The result are quality certificates recognised both in Serbia and internationally. The company’s production programs are awarded the “EN quality certificate” issued by the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade, the Swiss Certification Company SGS-Belgrade and TÜV Standard from Germany. Our company’s products are placed in the markets of over 20 countries, and exports account for 70% of our total sales. In addition to Serbia and the former Yugoslavia, JELA furniture adorns homes throughout Russia, America, Mongolia, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Switzerland, and Malta.

COMPANY DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURIAL STORY
The beginnings date back to 1956, when a modest carpentry shop was established, where the craft was passed on as a family tradition. The company itself was founded in 1991 by recognizing a good business opportunity and identifying problems in the Serbian market. JELA JAGODINA solved them in an innovative way. In 1998, the company was technologically modernised and then our first serial production was launched. With our way of doing business and thinking, we soon become the market leader. We are building an image of a large family company that is ready to constantly improve, expand its programs and encourage the development of the domestic market while successfully expanding abroad. The company has been taking part in domestic and international furniture fairs for many years presenting its products in Belgrade, Cologne, Barntrup, Moscow, and the UAE. Since 2012 JELA JAGODINA has been organising a home furniture fair in its exhibition space. In 2020 we have expanded the company’s production space increasing the area from 20,000 to 45,000m2.
